AASRA is a registered 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization. Its mission
is to support and serve as a resource agency for women of the
South Asian community in the Boston area. AASRA provides opportunities
for women to develop themselves to realize their unique potential
to the fullest extent. The AASRA organization is women-centric
but not women-exclusive. AASRA works to develop solutions within
a supportive framework that values the individual and is deeply
sensitive to the unique needs of women of all ages. AASRA takes
pride in New England's multi-cultural society and draws on it's
strengths and serves the needs of it's community. AASRA funds
its activities through membership drives, fund-raising events
and grants from public and philanthropic sources.
