Welcome to the AASRA Fall E-news! Hope you and your families had a pleasant summer. We are back with interesting Fall events for which we seek your creative collaboration. Come join us!

Your kind donations make it possible on a daily basis, for us to extend AASRA’s impact to ensure safety, security, and self-sufficiency for every South Asian woman who reaches out to us for her own and her family’s welfare. Your contributions have embraced several lives; you are making a real difference—we thank you for your continued support for our mission! We are also pleased to welcome new members to the AASRA family network. We are looking forward to your active involvement with keen anticipation!

Our nucleus — The AASRA Center continues to respond to women seeking support, information resources and counsel-- always with complete confidentiality. The AASRA Center is a comforting, walk-in facility located at 54 Cummings Park, Suite 316, Woburn, MA (easy T-access). "The Children We Sacrifice", a movie by Grace Poore, is about preventing incestuous sexual abuse of the girl child in South Asian communities. It involves India, Sri Lanka, the U.S., and Canada and has been released in conjunction with community workshops in all four countries. Panelists will include Clinical Psychologists, Subject-Matter field experts, and Legal Advocates.
